Muscles are en fuego

Just returned back from a personal training session at the gym. Holy cow was this one rough, possibly the most difficulty I've had so far. I literally almost threw up and passed out twice. Strangest thing.

I did lose another pound and a half though, so I guess it's all worth it in the end.

I need to motivate myself to get to the gym more frequently. I am good on the food part, since cooking is one thing that I love, but the actual going to the gym bores me. Something I've definitely got to work on.

I think, for now, I will go take a nap. My muscles are screaming.

  1. Gym=boring. Music very rarely helps me. Try a trashy magazine. Or an app of some sort on your phone that wont' take away from cardio coordination. (I have come close to falling off multiple machines.)

  2. The gym is sooooo boring. I can't handle it. Someone just suggested I take my kindle or something. It doesn't help that I have the attention span of a 3 year old...ha

  3. I always hated the going part, but when I got there I would be fine. It helps to have a gym buddy! Keep up the great work! Every loss is a step in the right direction, no matter how small. Too bad I can't seem to keep that in mind!!

  5. A good friend of mine told me that I need to treat the gym like a job. Show up on time and stay for my full shift and imagine that I can get fired. I have a great work ethic so it generally works for me. Unfortunately, my benefits package and have accrued a shit ton of vacation days!
